About ARCF
The original Automobile Racing Club of Florida was founded in 1957 by Sebring race promoter Alec Ulmann to serve as the sanctioning body and host for the 12 Hours of Sebring International Sports Car Race. In additional to hosting the race, ARCF quickly became a valuable social magnet as Mary & Alec Ulmann hosted lavish social events each year for new and returningARCF guests and friends.
Today, the ARCF has been revived to help preserve Sebring race history by hosting special events and hopes to establish a permanent Sebring race history museum. ARCF is a division of the Sebring Hall of Fame, a 501(c)3 organization. Your membership pledges and donations are tax deductible.
The Sebring Alumni Reunion
The annual Homecoming Reunion during the Sebring 12 Hour race week is our opportunity to welcome back former drivers, crew members, officials, volunteers and passionate fans. The Reunion provides an opportunity for you to stand toe-to-toe with living history. The vision is for ARCF to grow and to develop educational seminars, behind the scene tours and other networking events which will enhance your race week experience.
Sebring History Museum
The ARCF vision is that your membership pledge will be used to establish a permanent Sebring Race History Museum. It will tell the fascinating story of how a small remote orange grove town in the middle of Florida came to host one of the world’s most important International sports car racing events. The museum will house archival materials dating back to the first race in 1950 and will host social events as well as visiting race car displays.
